The Center for Practical Bioethics is a nonprofit, free-standing and independent organization nationally recognized for its work in practical bioethics. The Center's mission is to raise and respond to ethical issues in health and healthcare. Its vision is to achieve a society in which the dignity and health of all people is advanced through ethical discourse and action. The Center is accredited to offer post-baccalaureate (graduate) education in bioethics, by the Kansas Board of Regents, and has applied for accreditation from the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education.
